Really like these, mucho, and they seem slightly familiar, like I've seen something like them before. Itchy thought though that I cannot seem to complete, as in where. Only thing that springs to mind would be the Egyptian part of the British museum. Looks like stone...still trying to remember... or even shields. If I remember, I'll be back to tell you.
I thought shields too first time I saw these, then I thought maybe some alien sundial, then perhaps a locking mechanism on Bravo and then I thought I need to get a life and stop messing around so much. :-D
For some reason, these pics reminded me of the Fountain, the film about an ever living man, the scenes in which he floated in some cosmic space. See the film and you will understand))
