I had a beautifully illustrated copy of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid when I was a child, this image took me back to being absorbed within the pages of that book - had forgotten about it. Such a beautiful image, dark and so full of light at the same time, gives it an air of all things magical. Gorgeous, simply.
