I could see this one making it into the story however you decide, :-), it's an interesting one. Just plain wonderful too, but interesting most of all. It reminded me a little of a dial of some sort, something at the controls of the new ship for example. But more than that, it just has a kaleidoscopic look to it, in the sense of there being much more than meets the eye, and so I thought of some sort of arial view of a building, infra-red even. Again, absolutely fantastic! :-)
