The legend of Three Peaks (on Silus). Von leaned over the bar to Rog and Yul and the storytelling began. Before long Trev and Em joined them and then Mairi and Kyra. Von presided over the crew like a maestro in the pit. Only think missing was a campfire.

This image reminds me of one of those wonderful nature programs, where they use the fast-forward technique to show a flower blooming or some other such thing, and the dawn breaking, the sunlight spreading over more and more ground would be another one. With the sun just about to peek over the top, it has a sense of what is to come. Just beautiful. :-)

Thank you Sweetest. That is a lovely way to view this image. Feels like a new dawn. Now rub that sleep from your eyes and come snuggle over here. We'll get coffee later. :-)

You would have no need to repeat that request. :-)

Hope we get to hear more about the legend.

Sweet dreams, sweet heart, x

brilliance! This reminds me of the mountains in Snowdonia (in Wales)

As soon as Von shares it with me, I'll share it with you. Or, if you snuggle really close, I'll just make one up until I know the real story. By the way, the closer you snuggle, the longer the story. :-D

Snowdonia, now that is a brilliant name. At first, I thought you were going to say it was from the Narnia. Thanks for the kind words James.

Now if the mountains look like this, I'll need to put that destination on my itinerary.

Untouched territory....looks cold and blustery. I'm looking for the penguins and polar bears.

Give me a nice cup hot chocolate and a fuzzy blanket...cozy up.

Oh yeah! Did I read somewhere you are comming to the UK? Snowdonia is one of my favourate places on Earth.. it is quite a small range (compared to the mountais of scotland anyway) but has some increadible portions... if logistics allow, I think a visit would not be regretable.

James, between 1994 and 2000 I used to travel to the UK on business six or seven times a year and on a couple of occasions got the chance to go to Wales--absolutely beautiful place. I actually did some "coaststeering" in Wales, if you know what that is. :-)

The greatest challenge on any business trip is trying to squeeze in as much extracurricular activity as possible and since London is the one place I haven't spent as much time exploring, I will probably be there for most if not the entire trip. But I will have to do some research on Snowdonia.

Thanks for the heads up. :-)

Jillie, hot chocolate on the way. Please tell me you are wearing a sweater. Have I told you I love sweaters? Welcome home honey. :-)

I'm actually wearing a hooded sweatshirt that my nephew gave from when he was a student at the University of Oshkosh. I just LOVE it because it's warm, big and cozy. Perfect for a "blue" day ;o)

That works. I'll go get mine. :-)

Meg, you can pull me anytime. Behind that tree over there would be a good place. Pull hard and pull fast. Pull with no mercy. Do it girl! :-D

Will do James. Next to a good curry, I do miss British beer the most, so be prepared to share a pint or two.
