Small it looks like croquet, large it is simply stunning. Original use of colours, that combination is spectacular to the eye, a real explosion. A gorgeous image - that black hole is a little spooky, but it's a clear winner - gorgeous!
Could be Jillie. Let's hope the Colts don't get sucked into that same hole. I think Peyton needs to grow some, and soon. Damn, just act like a quarterback. :-D
Keshi, been having some problems with the other blog so as a temporary fix, I've made it invite only. Please send me your email and I would be most pleased to send you an invitation.
As always, thanks for the kind words. Hope and trust you are well. :-)
Hiya Trée, yeah I was also wondering what was going on with your 'story blog'. When I go there I get an old 2006 version (different from what you have now).
But I'm glad I popped over because I haven't looked here in a while. You've got some awesome images posted!
Deb, I just sent you an invite to the current version of DT. The version you are seeing is an old static version that I simply have been unable to get Blogger to delete (it doesn't show up on my dashboard). Don't ask me how many emails I've sent them and I hope they will take care of the matter soon. Until then, I hope you will accept the invitation and visit the story blog too. Of course, this is a nice place too. :-)
Ive been lurking on this blog for a few days now.. Im quite fascinated..
There are only two things I can relate this too in my mind... one is 2001 - A Space Odyssey and the other is Star Trek the motion picture.
Both films, have extended kalidascopic sequences in which participants are sucked through these strange portions of matter which defy time/space definition.
Fred, thanks for the kind words, which are always much appreciated. I can see that scene from 2001, one of my favorite movies of all time and I consider it an honor to have this image compared. Not sure if this one will make it into the story, but then again, that's why I have this blog, to give light to images that otherwise would have never seen the light of blogland. :-)
Jillie, my other blog, Decadent Tranquility, is my main blog, my original blog and the blog where I write my sci-fi love story. It is a little over a year old and has more than 200 postings, but it is also the kind of "blog story" that you can pick up and read from any point in time. I try to write most of the posting such that they can stand alone and of course, each post features one of my images to support it.
If you would like to visit DT, let me know and I will send you an invite, since because of some recent issues, I've had to make it invite only. It's not every one's cup of tea, so no offense if you don't care to visit (I kinda like you here), but I will tell you this, the comments on DT are pretty engaged comments as least as far as Autumn is concerned. :-D
Just let me know. An invite is only an email away. ;-)
Meg, just sent you an invite so you should be able to get back to my main blog and the story. No worries, only one new post since the "pre-invite" days. Fresh this morning. Hope you like it.
Thanks for checking in on me. Good to be home. Nothing like sleeping in your own bed, even if it is with four dogs. :-D
Meg, I sent it to your work email. If you have another, pop that over to me and I'll send you another invite. I have a feeling your work server is hoarding it. :-D
Best email for me is: decadenttranquility@gmail.com
Well it will give me something to look forward to when I have my foot surgery. I'm going to be off of work for about 3 months. The nurse needs a nurse!!
I see the surgeon on Monday and so far we are looking at Tue Feb 6th...NOT looking forward to it either. But he is a GREAT Ortho Dr. he did my elbow 18 months ago. So I am ok about it. I just need to get walking again. I hate being imobile

Thank you Sweetest. Love the weave in this one. I think if you stick your finger in the middle and try to pull it out, you can't. :-D
Looks like someone weaving a basket with nylon rope. Very pretty...
I think that black hole is the hole our Saints were sucked into...
:o(

Excellent pictures anyway.

Yeah...I have been curious. What's on the other blog? Curiosity hasn't killed this cat yet ;o)

Jillie, invite in the mail. :-D
You are welcomed either place and I always try to have fresh tea about the place, so make yourself at home here or there or both. :-)

You'll have to fight me for it first. I'm not quite as delicate as your Squorks lol...
Jillie, you just got to love those Squorks, especially the baby ones. I see you've been in the archives. I promise, the writing gets better. :-D
Well it will give me something to look forward to when I have my foot surgery. I'm going to be off of work for about 3 months. The nurse needs a nurse!!
Well, I better start writing more if I need to fill three months off. :-D
How long before your surgery?
I see the surgeon on Monday and so far we are looking at Tue Feb 6th...NOT looking forward to it either. But he is a GREAT Ortho Dr. he did my elbow 18 months ago. So I am ok about it. I just need to get walking again. I hate being imobile
Jillie, I'll keep that date in my thoughts. Sounds like you are in good hands.
