Loved looking at your photos, of the nest and the dogs, tell me just uploaded this feature and that it hasn't been sitting there for ages without my having seen it. A good photographer on top of everything else, though I did already know that via some photos that you posted on DT ages ago (eg some trees), I really don't know much about photography but it seems to me you have a very good eye (well, two very nice ones actually;), certainly you captured some very nice poses from the dogs - I liked esp. Mario in the sun, (I may be mistaken on this name) Charlie and Mario together, Charlie keeping watch (I think it said) and the one playing coy. And the shots of the birds speak for themselves, but if I had to say anything, I'd say 'WOW' ;-D

Liking the cloud too, nice idea - you are full of them. :-D

I've had the flickr badge back up for about a week or so, although the photos are still the same old ones from a while ago. Charlie is actually Frankie and I still remember taking that picture. Mario was sick but we thought he was over it. Little did we know at the time.

As always, thanks for the kind words. One day, I'll have to load some more of my pics into the badge now that I have it up and someone actually is gonna look at it. :-D

The author cloud looks kinda neat and something a little different. As you know, I like something a little different from time to time. :-)

Variety is the spice, as 'they' say.

I'm ashamed to say, I do not recall having seen these photos before, so am doubtful whether I viewed them first time around. Better late than never, eh. Whenever you mention Mario, I just know what a special soul he must have been for you to love him so.

He was a very special dog taken in the prime of his life. Those last three weeks, taking him to the vet twice a day for fluids and pain meds and then bringing him home and propping him up on a pillow next to my desk and then just watching him there all day--well, those were sad days indeed.

I remember. When you first told us about it, the updates, the outpouring of love from bloggers in support, that fractal of love and the wonderful gesture of the vets. So very sad as it was (is), there was love and warmth all the way though.

That much is true. Yes. Much love amidst the pain.

I see joy and fun in this fractal!
