Sense of endlessness, of freedom, looking out to the ocean, and that same sense along the beach, just the knowledge that one could walk, or sail, for the longest time and yet there would be more of the same. Another thoroughly lovely shot. Lucky ducky. :-)

Sunshine, this shot was taken from the wooden bridge you see below. And yes, I felt that same sense of endlessness just staring down the beach. I wish a photo could capture the view. Stunning.

Thank you Ms Jumbled. :-)

Fantastic shot. I could almost feel the soft white sand under my feet. These remind me of Destin Beach.

water on ground..Oh so heavy!
Water suspended in the sky...what a wonder!

Gravity adds so much weight...

Trée said...

Dear Beautiful Soul, these beaches are very, very similar to the ones at Destin. The only difference is I would argue the Destin beaches are a little whiter. Wish you could have been there. :-)

Hi Mona. :-)

Now THAT's where I want to be!!!!!!!! Some R & R (yes, I know, I just got back) and a nice cold Coor's Lite please ;o))

Trée said...

Jillie, WELCOME BACK! I'll grab a pail of iced longnecks and meet you on the beach. :-D

jillie said...

You missed a spot on your back....you need more suntanning lotion ;o)

Trée said...

I don't think my back is the only place I missed. :-D

What beach is that? It's gorgeous!

Trée said...

SJ, this is Pensacola Beach. I was there last week on business. I know, tough gig. :-D

Serena said...

Yeah, real tough gig. LOL. I love white sand beaches, and Pensacola is beautiful.

Trée said...

SJ, you can't tell from the pics, but the hotels on this stretch of beach were destroyed by the hurricanes of a couple years ago and are in process of being rebuilt. As such, as you can see, there is almost nobody on the beaches. All that will change again in a couple years, but right now Pensacola Beach is not a bad place to go if you want a less crowded experience.

You ready for another beer?

Trée said...

Yes. :-)

Have you ever been to Amelia Island? I was there a few years ago with an old flame...what an amazing place. Just looking at those pictures kind of reminded me of it...

Calgon...TAKE ME AWAY!

Trée said...

Jillie, I've heard many great things about Amelia island, but have never been there myself. Is there room for two in that bath?

Princess Banter said...

I would definitely love to be the first one to run through that smoooth soft sand ;) And then admire my little handy work at the end of the line...

Trée said...

Princess, come with me. We'll run together. :-)

If you ever get the chance to go...The Amelia Island Plantation is wonderful...they have shops and boutiques everywhere. Lovely grounds to walk around and to listen to the ocean waves...love that sounds.

I think if I move a little to the left there's room....

Good morning, when you get that far. Hope the rest of yesterday was full of fun & celebration, and that you won't be paying any price for it today in the form of an achy head and the like. :-D

I truly love this... my next plan is to 'steal' it away and use it as a screen saver on my laptop. :)
Have a nice weekend.

Pink, Trebuchet is just an afterthought of a blog, a place to post images that don't make it into my story. Decadent Tranquility is my main blog and the one I update on a regular basis. Please feel free to visit me there. :-)
