Trev needed a "refresh" on his image. His first sketch was getting a little long in the tooth. Now I think you can see why Em is starting to have some thoughts about Trevor. Looks like he's been working out too. :-D
Definite improvements in his before and after pictures. :-D
The second version, if one didn't know any better could take on a whole different ambience, to be lying, eyes open that way, half-covered in water, could be a something quite different.

Sweetest, I am always amazed at how rotating an image can give it such a very different feel, look and mood. I agree, the bottom image looks so very, very different, almost sinister in a way.

Frieda, thanks for the kind words. I sketch and paint using Corel's Painter 9.5. It really is a fabulous program. They just released version 10.0 last month and it looks even more fabulous. One of the best software programs I own.

Just like quiet draws listening ears, so too this portrait draws the eye to what is there through what isn't. Just really like this one.
