Yum! Thoroughly delectable image, wow!

I'm surprised Lisa didn't ask you this, but is there some sort of invisible fencing around the perimeter, especially at night it looks all to easy to fall off the edge.

Underground storage - and I had visions of hovercrafts and rope ladders, such a limited imagination! ;-D

Yes! There is an invisible fence and netting around the sides. Virtually impossible to fall out these living ships. They each have names too and some even say they have souls and go to extraordinary measures to protect their owners.

Souls, what a wonderful thought. :-)

How would you like to live on a living island. That is, imagine these islands are really creatures--living beings--who serve out their live as vessel for habitation and travel. Made you smile didn't I? :-)

Don't you always :-)

I actually started to write that! ..I should like to live in such a place.. It's certainly beautiful and with the ocean all around even better, the only 'downside' was the relatively small surface. But if there were a main island nearby where one could go for long walks, or bike rides, it would make all the difference. :-)
