Oh wow Trée (and that was actually said out loud when I went full size on this pic), that is magnificent.

Something completely different from you and it is wonderful, omg the colors, the reflection in the orb, the addition of the cat, wow, I am just in awe

Are you familiar with Christian Lassen's or Wyland's work? I love their stuff and this is what this reminds me of

Hahahahaha, I knew you would love this one. The color soooooooo reminds me of the beach and that reminds me of you sweetie. Thirsty little fellow. :-D

I'm not familar with Lassen or Wyland but now you have me curious.

The last two images come from my new software that I don't know how to use so what you are seeing is me just playing. I do like to play. Is it August yet. Or perhaps April. Is there room in that suitcase?

I do like to play.
:0) which is why there will always be room in my suitcase for you luv

Lassen and Wyland both do marine art (big surprise LOL) its that kind of surreal style, with the beautiful colors, and the animals, love the animals. I would kill for an original, I have been to several of Wyland's galleries.

and OMG I just set this one as my desktop, it is freakin wonderful, can't wait to see what you can do once you know what the program will do for you.

That's funny since I just set this one as my wallpaper too. I love the orb and the reflection and the purity of the blues and whites and sandy colors. I could just get lost in the reflection of the sky in that orb. Now I wonder how I can expand my story with some of these new images. :-D

'Jesus Christ!' (I'm so ashamed at that utterance) - is what you got from me and yes, out loud too. Can't fricken believe these! You have to do something with these fractals, sharing them with the likes of us is just not enough.

once again, I seriously agree with Autumn on this one, they are too good to keep to just us, you need to do something with them! hell I would buy a coffee table book (or 20 LOL) of them :0)

I would too, and its not because I know you (though I will be milking that claim to fame for all its worth) -
I love images, love the effect/impact they can have without doing anything, just by simply being there, to be absorbed, to be felt.
I'm no art expert, by a long shot, but I do know that very many of these images have been something quite extraordinary - these top two are absolutely amazing!

(nods head in agreement) yeah what she said LOL

This program looks like it is very similar to Bryce. You can make really nice landscapes, and include 3D objects.

These are really good for "just playing", LOL. Have fun, can't wait to see more!

Sunshine, your very kind words are much appreciated. I wish I could say the two images here took me days and tons of work, but the program I'm using makes it very easy to create basic scenes like what you see here.

Thanks again for putting a smile on my face and I'm very glad you enjoyed these images. I'll get better, I promise. :-)

Trace, your words of encouragement are, well, very encouraging--lol. I'd like to see where I am in another six months or so, assuming I can continue to put the same amount of time in learning how to use these programs. One never says never and I'm keeping an open mind. :-)

Deb, thanks for your feedback. I've never used Bryce but from what I've seen both programs do very similar things. I do appreciate your kind words. Vue makes it easily to create basic scenes with an object or two. Creating something more complex and getting the lighting, placement and overall composition is where the real work is.

Have no doubt. Just when you produce a fractal and I think, wow, that's the best one yet, most intricate, most awesome, most beautiful etc. there you go and outdo yourself :-).
PS if that's what we get from a bit of work, I can't wait to see what a lot of work will produce. You'll have me flying backwards off my chair as if the screen exploded rofl - can see it now. Whiplash fractals. Maybe they should come with a warning - be prepared to be astounded :-)
Morning and hope you are having a fantastic day, x

LMAO, expectations. I must lower expectations. Patience my dear sweet woman. You haven't been dipping into the southern snoot again have you?

Nope :-D.
Will have to do that one day and see what I come up with.
